Celebrate a unique birthday party in nature. Let the kids have fun in our hammocks and balance on our forest slacklines. We can create other nature adventures depending on your children’s interests.

Parties can be held at the Oranjezicht City Farm, in Kirstenbosch Botanical gardens, at Deer Park, at the Alphen Trail, or at any open natural area of your choice.

All our party activities are all ages friendly and can be adapted to their age and your child’s unique interests. Custom parties are also available at an additional cost.

Price: R180 per child participating
R160 per child for groups bigger than 20 children

Music - Forest School - Nature Plays

Forest Music Celebration

We at Nature Plays think nature and music are an awesome combo! Kids make their own musical instruments out of 100% recycled materials to take home, and we put on a musical show together. We experiment with sound and play games like musical statues. We have a special guest join us to sing and play songs on the guitar and create a forest band with the kids!

Bootcamp Survivor Adventure

What is better than a jungle bootcamp party for energetic kids?! Join the dynamic Nature Plays crew and have fun in one or more teams, building awesome forest forts! We play tug-of-war, paint our own fabric team flags to take home, camouflage our faces and climb obstacles. With the forest as the playground and some healthy competition, this party is the perfect birthday celebration for a lively group!

We make our own clay bug creations to take home!

Jungle Animal - Forest School

Jungle Animal Explorer

Welcome to the jungle safari adventure! We offer an awesome animal-themed scavenger treasure hunt, where the party group can work as a team to find clues and complete exciting obstacles to find the treasure. The kids design their own jungle animal masks so they can get creative and be their favourite animal! They can make safari binoculars out of 100% recycled materials to take home.

Water Party - Forest School - Nature Plays

Water Party

We believe nothing beats a day in the river! We offer a safe and fun space for children to engage in water play and river exploration at a birthday party. Whether the children are slacklining across the stream or learning about river creatures by gently catching and releasing them with nets – it’s a lot of fun! Our muddy kitchen equipment is wonderful for free imaginative play, and we also teach kids to build their own mini river rafts. Boat-racing, bridge-building and muddy feet guarantee an enjoyable birthday party!

Seeds - Forest School - Nature PLays

Seeds: DIY paint pots!

Come and celebrate your child’s birthday by exploring and learning about the fun world of seeds! Children paint and decorate their own pots, and plant indigenous seeds to take them home and watch them grow. The kids discover a wide collection of seeds, and go on a seed walk to find their own seeds. We learn about indigenous trees and make our own leaf necklaces.

flower power - Forest School

Flower Power

Nature is full of colour and wonder! The Flower Power party features a rainbow walk and a flower pounding experience where kids imprint leaves and flowers into fabric to take home something creative and memorable. Another art opportunity is colourful light lanterns. We offer an experience for kids to taste some edible flowers and plants.
