Description

Welcome to our bushcraft series! Nature Plays is running drop-and-go weekend workshops for children ages 8 and above.
These workshops allow older children to work with real tools and learn how to make amazing things out of wood: Pencils, forest gnomes, butter knives and lots more to come!

They learn epic skills, guided by our trained facilitator, Emile, and they get to take their creations home.

Emile is a longstanding member of the forest school team, with many years of experience facilitating forest school sessions with kids in and around Cape Town. He has a special knack for empowering kids with his hands-on approach to skills learning, giving great instructions and always keeping an eye on tool use and progress. He ensures his group sizes of no more than 7 kids allow for each kid to get the instruction and attention they need to gain independence and feel supported in their bushcraft learning.

Kids leave feeling proud of their accomplishments and find a new way to connect with nature through their own creativity and fine-tuned motor skills.
